In addition to the functions described above, it will please its users with a completely and qualitatively Russified, very nice software interface with changeable themes, created in an extremely simplified and most convenient version for use. eM Client managed 98 of these daily tasks (which one normally wouldn’t pay much attention to), but I did find some inconsistencies between meeting invite emails and calendar entries, especially when mixing up my working apps between Outlook on Android and eM Client on the desktop.

Also, all the imported emails are marked as unread, so you will need to go through every folder and use the "Mark folder as read" option.EM Client Portable is quite a powerful email client. In addition to the basic functionality necessary for full-fledged work with e-mail correspondence (receiving, sending, reading, writing, deleting, forwarding, sorting, mass mailing of e-mails), it has many new products in its arsenal. Among them is an excellent multifunctional organizer with a built-in address book, a notepad for notes, a planner for creating to-do lists and tasks, and a handy calendar with reminders. Separately, it is worth noting the integrated chat messenger (a kind of Internet pager) and other interesting software tools, many of which, no doubt, will be very useful for organizing the life and work of business people!Ĭompatible with almost all the most famous and popular mail servers and protocols in the computer world (including POP3, IMAP, EWS, SMTP, CalDAV, AirSync), and also guaranteed to work with the most popular mail and other Internet services (Hotmail, Gmail, , Yahoo, iCloud, Skype, Facebook). Another nice feature of this post client is the ability to import the necessary data from third-party mail applications, such as The Bat!, Thunderbird, MS Outlook and Windows Live Mail. Thunderbird seemed to not let you import straight into the Local Folders, so I had to create a sub folder, import into that, then move all those folders back into the Local Folders. There were some minor issues along the way. That will Import all the emails and create the folders and sub folders as per the original structure. The Thunderbird ImportExportTools addon then has an import option to import all emails in a folder and a box that you can tick to include subfolders.
Hope that helps someone else get through this process more easily! Also, all the imported emails are marked as unread, so you will need to go through every folder and use the "Mark folder as read" option. It will however, export those files with the folder structure intact.
The only export option from EM Client is eml files with one file per email. Is there any way or tool to import a local em client database to thunderbird retaining the folder/subfolder structure?įinal solution for anyone else wanting to make this move.
